Giving room to grow

"Be patient, invest time with your kids and it will be worthwhile", this is a sound advice that probably you have heard before. And it is absolutely True!! It may take a little longer than you expected but you'll see the fries of your labour. 
That's what happened with me. 
I have to admit that at times it felt overwhelming and the thought of giving up creeped in. At those times I was so wrong.
Fortunately I carried... we carried on.
Today is a huge milestone. The job's not over, though.
KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON.

Realisations or a new journey towards enlightenment

Yesterday I woke up to a realisation. One that was lingering in my mind but seldom saw the light of day that is a deliberate though. The realisation is threefold: a) Human Nature is rather simple and in its default state is ruled by fear. Very rarely we humans choose to be collectively enlightened; b) As parents we need to do better with our kids. Take the time to educate, play and love ourselves and don't delegate that responsibility to the institutions. I strongly believe that parents that are interested cannot fail; c) More books, fewer screens... easier said than done, right? screens are omnipresent and notifications keep us locked in. Like a deliberate though is the enlightenment of the mind, deliberate action is the enlightenment of oneself. We can do it, if we try. Dear reader, I really missed blogging. I regret shutting down the old blog, but here I am for a new ride.
